About Micki Findlay
Author, poet, freelance columnist, activist, and multimedia artist, Micki Findlay, is a long-time resident of Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. She focuses primarily on WRITING stories and poetry
based on her life, in hopes of helping others recognize their self-worth, find hope through difficult circumstances, and realize they are not alone in their struggles.
Micki is also the creator and organizer of a political resistance group called, Elbows Up Van Isle.
You may find the group on FACEBOOK as well as HERE on her website.
Micki lives with her husband David and is a six-time grandma, a retired singing telegram clown (yes, you read that right), a mermaid wanna-be, and an activist for kindness and social justice. She is always amazed at how many adventures she continues to experience, and how much she keeps learning in her golden years. She just hopes her body can keep up with all of her dreams and ambitions.
Community, creativity, collaboration, and coffee are her love languages.
